Industry-leading business news publisher The Deal has been using K4 since 2004 as the editorial front end for its magazines, newspapers and electronic publications, including daily PDFs and its website. In 2008, The Deal began developing The Deal Pipeline, an online service that provides subscribers with customized, high-value editorial content and data. Thanks to K4’s flexibility and intuitive design, The Deal found it easy to leverage the system to feed this new product as well.

As a result, instead of spending time and money training staff on a new editorial system, The Deal was able to focus on optimizing The Deal Pipeline’s Web interface. Ultimately, the new service has helped the company expand its business model beyond traditional B2B publishing.
