For the QuarkXPress user, our Find File Links XTension (which we affectionately call FiFi XT) quickly restores file-path information for ad files so lost file links can be updated easily. No more tedious hunting through volumes and folders to find out where the graphics got to — just give FiFi a starting point on your network, and it automatically finds each ad and attaches the correct file path.

For MEI ad layout product users, FiFi sniffs out files that weren't available when the Page Director ALS/CLS, ALS for Magazines, AdForce or ClassForce layouts were opened in QuarkXPress, eliminating the need to manually link those last ad boxes to their appropriate files.

FiFi is available for QuarkXPress versions 6.5 through 8.5.

Features

•  Open FiFi right in the QuarkXPress interface.
•  Automatically update all ad boxes in your layout.
•  Easily replace low-resolution image paths with paths to high-resolution images.
•  Select a folder and let FiFi do the rest; FiFi searches volumes, folders and subfolders.

Split up the pages of your layout document with Split & Folio and let everybody get to work.

Split & Folio preserves the information of the original QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign document while letting you deal out single pages or page ranges. Just open the original and click the Split & Folio “Save as Pages” option under the File menu. You’ll be prompted enter the page range, and whether to save a document for each page or a single document with multiple pages. The new documents retain the properties of the original, including attributes inherited from ALS, CLS, AdForce or ClassForce, such as ads, page labels. folios and file links.

Split & Folio is available for QuarkXPress versions 6.5 through 8.5 and InDesign CS2 through CS5.5.
