ALS XT 8.0 includes new, advanced features for opening ALS, ALS for Magazines and AdForce issues in QuarkXPress 8.

New ALS import preferences. A new preference dialog has been added to the QuarkXPress preference panel.

Ad import. New options have been added for “Opening,” “Overlaying” and “Inserting” ALS pages into QuarkXPress.

Layers. Let ALS XT automatically add layers in QuarkXPress during import; for example, choose to add layers for ads or info boxes. You can add up to five different layers.

Select a Master Page. If you use master pages in a layout template, you can now apply a selected master page to any ALS page inserted or added to the QuarkXPress layout.

Create New Project from Ticket. Just select the ALS XT Ad Import preferences option "New Project from Ticket" and choose a saved job-jacket ticket. Each time you open an ALS issue using the saved preference, ALS XT will create a new project from the ticket.
