Did you know?
MEI has an extensive customer list of more than 2,400 users in 53 countries.
ALS is also available in German.

Used at more publications worldwide than any other automated ad layout system, ALS lets you control and manage the advertising side of your publication. In just a matter of seconds, you can have a fully-paginated, accurate ad dummy that can be opened in QuarkXPress® or Adobe® InDesign®. With its robust feature set and high degree of accuracy and flexibility, ALS saves time, reduces costs and increases the efficiency of your workflow.

ALS is powerful, yet easy to use. You have complete control, and can automate as much or as little of the ad layout process as you require. ALS builds dummies and runsheets, creates ad stacks according to specific page gravity and generates reports based on cost and issue information. You can even manage ad placement by advertising ratios and color press configuration while monitoring placement of ads that require special consideration (such as coupon ads and ads that must run in specific sections). In short, it does everything you need and much more!

From seamless integration of OS X core technologies such as Spotlight, to dramatic workflow improvements made possible by novel new tool brushes, to introduction of multiple column systems and addition of far-reaching migration, gravity and layout evaluation tools, Version 5 of ALS brings the most significant changes to the product since it was first introduced nearly 15 years ago.
